(1) If it appears from the preliminary action taken according to sub-section (1) of section 11 that there has been a violation of human rights of a person or its aggravation, the commission may itself or as necessary appoint an investigation team or an investigation officer and conduct an investigation and investigation as prescribed.
(2) After completion of investigation and research work according to sub-section (1), the investigation team or investigation officer shall submit the report to the Commission.
(3) After receiving the report in accordance with sub-section (2), the Commission may engage the services of experts, take additional evidence or witnesses, or conduct a public hearing in relation to the matters mentioned in the report.
(4) Other provisions related to investigations and investigations shall be as prescribed.
